Muzeum Ziemi Kościerskiej

Muzeum Ziemi Kościerskiej w Kościerzynie zostało założone z inicjatywy dr. Jerzego Knyby, etnografa i nauczyciela. W 1963 roku zorganizowano pierwsze muzealne wystawy, a zbiory stopniowo przenoszono do różnych lokalizacji. W 2000 roku muzeum znalazło swoją siedzibę w odnowionym budynku ratusza. W 2006 roku stało się samodzielną jednostką organizacyjną miasta, a w kolejnych latach włączono do niego Muzeum Kolejnictwa oraz Muzeum Akordeonu.

Obecnie muzeum prezentuje wystawy stałe, w tym historyczną, etnograficzną i przyrodniczą. Wystawa historyczna ukazuje dzieje Kościerzyny od czasów prehistorycznych, a etnograficzna prezentuje kulturę ludową regionu. Ponadto muzeum posiada bogatą kolekcję dotyczącą fauny i flory Kaszub.
